Description

Recombinant Human C-C motif chemokine 4-like protein (CCL4) (Active) | CSB-AP000851HU | Cusabio

Protein Description: Full Length of Mature Protein

Alternative Name (s) : G-26 T-lymphocyte-secreted protein, Lymphocyte activation gene 1 protein, LAG-1, MIP-1-beta1-69,

Gene Names: CCL4,LAG1,MIP1B,SCYA4

Research Areas: Immunology

Species: Homo sapiens (Human)

Source: E.Coli

Tag Info: Tag-Free

Expression Region: 24-92aa

Sequence Info: APMGSDPPTA CCFSYTARKL PRNFVVDYYE TSSLCSQPAV VFQTKRGKQV CADPSESWVQ EYVYDLELN

Biological Activity: Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The ED50 as determined by a cell proliferation assay using human CCR5 transfected murine BaF3 cells is less than 2.0 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of > 5.0 × 105 IU/mg.

MW: 7.8 kDa

Purity: >97% as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC.

Endotoxin: Less than 1.0 EU/µg as determined by LAL method.

Relevance: Monokine with inflammatory and chemokinetic properties. Binds to CCR5. One of the major HIV-suppressive factors produced by CD8+ T-cells. Recombinant MIP-1-beta induces a dose-dependent inhibition of different strains of HIV-1, HIV-2, and simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV) . The processed form MIP-1-beta (3-69) retains the abilities to induce down-modulation of surface expression of the chemokine receptor CCR5 and to inhibit the CCR5-mediated entry of HIV-1 in T-cells. MIP-1-beta (3-69) is also a ligand for CCR1 and CCR2 isoform B. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:10540332, ECO:0000269|PubMed:12070155, ECO:0000269|PubMed:8525373}.

Paythway:

Form: Lyophilized powder

Buffer: Lyophilized from a 0.2 µm filtered PBS, pH 7.4

Reconstitution: We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
