Product Type: Polyclonal Antibody
Target Names: RAC1
Aliases: Ras-like protein TC25; Ras-related C3 botulinum toxin substrate 1; p21-Rac1
Background: Rac1 encoded by this gene is a GTPase which belongs to the RAS superfamily of small GTP-binding proteins. Members of this superfamily appear to regulate a diverse array of cellular events, including the control of cell growth, cytoskeletal reorganization, and the activation of protein kinases. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Isotype: IgG
Conjugate: Non-conjugated
Clonality: Polyclonal
Uniport ID: P63000
Host Species: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat
Immunogen: Peptide sequence around phosphorylation site of serine 71 (P-L-S (p) -Y-P) derived from Human Rac1.
Immunogen Species: Human
Applications: ELISA, WB
Tested Applications: ELISA, WB;WB:1:500-1:1000
Purification Method: Antibodies were produced by immunizing rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide and KLH conjugates. Antibodies were purified by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. Non-phospho specific antibodies were removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide.
