Product Type: Polyclonal Antibody

Target Names: ATF1

Aliases: ATF1; Activating transcription factor 1; Cyclic-AMP-dependent transcription factor ATF-1; TCR-ATF1; TREB36 protein

Background:

This protein binds the cAMP response element (CRE) (consensus: 5'-GTGACGT[AC][AG]-3'), a sequence present in many viral and cellular promoters. Binds to the Tax-responsive element (TRE) of HTLV-I. Mediates PKA-induced stimulation of CRE-reporter genes. Represses the expression of FTH1 and other antioxidant detoxification genes. Triggers cell proliferation and transformation.

Isotype: IgG

Conjugate: Non-conjugated

Clonality: Polyclonal

Uniport ID: P18846

Host Species: Rabbit

Species Reactivity: Human, Mouse

Immunogen: Peptide sequence around phosphorylation site of serine 63 (R-P-S (p) -Y-R) derived from Human ATF1 .

Immunogen Species: Human

Applications: ELISA, WB

Tested Applications: ELISA, WB;WB:1:500-1:1000

Purification Method: Antibodies were produced by immunizing rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide and KLH conjugates. Antibodies were purified by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. Non-phospho specific antibodies were removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide.
