Background: Auxillary subunit of the N-terminal acetyltransferase A (NatA) complex which displays alpha (N-terminal) acetyltransferase activity. In complex with XRCC6 and XRCC5 (Ku80), up-regulates transcription from the osteocalcin promoter.
