  • MGAT5 Antibody
  • Immunofluorescence staining of HepG2 cells with CSB-PA600992LA01HU at 1:200, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) .

Product Type: Polyclonal Antibody

Target Names: MGAT5

Aliases: Alpha-1, 6-mannosylglycoprotein 6-beta-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase A (EC 2.4.1.155) (Alpha-mannoside beta-1, 6-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase) (GlcNAc-T V) (GNT-V) (Mannoside acetylglucosaminyltransferase 5) (N-acetylglucosaminyl-transferase V), MGAT5, GGNT5

Background: Catalyzes the addition of N-acetylglucosamine in beta 1-6 linkage to the alpha-linked mannose of biantennary N-linked oligosaccharides. It is one of the most important enzymes involved in the regulation of the biosynthesis of glycoprotein oligosaccharides.
