  • FCGR3B Antibody
  • Immunofluorescence staining of A549 cells with CSB-PA008544LA01HU at 1:66, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) .

Product Type: Polyclonal Antibody

Target Names: FCGR3B

Aliases: Low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor III-B (Fc-gamma RIII-beta) (Fc-gamma RIII) (Fc-gamma RIIIb) (FcRIII) (FcRIIIb) (FcR-10) (IgG Fc receptor III-1) (CD antigen CD16b), FCGR3B, CD16B FCG3 FCGR3 IGFR3

Background: Receptor for the Fc region of immunoglobulins gamma. Low affinity receptor. Binds complexed or aggregated IgG and also monomeric IgG. Contrary to III-A, is not capable to mediate antibody-dependent cytotoxicity and phagocytosis. May serve as a trap for immune complexes in the peripheral circulation which does not activate neutrophils.
