  • IHC image of CSB-RA560252A0HU diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human testis tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-rabbit IgG polymer labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB.

Antibody Type: Recombinant

Target Names: FAAH

Aliases: Fatty-acid amide hydrolase 1 (EC 3.5.1.99) (Anandamide amidohydrolase 1) (Oleamide hydrolase 1), FAAH, FAAH1

Background: Degrades bioactive fatty acid amides like oleamide, the endogenous cannabinoid, anandamide and myristic amide to their corresponding acids, thereby serving to terminate the signaling functions of these molecules. Hydrolyzes polyunsaturated substrate anandamide preferentially as compared to monounsaturated substrates.

Isotype: Rabbit IgG

Conjugate: Non-conjugated

Clonality: Monoclonal

Clone Number: 8G3

Uniport ID: O00519

Modified: Cancer; Metabolism; Signal transduction

species: Homo sapiens (Human)

Species Reactivity: Human, Mouse

Immunogen: A synthesized peptide derived from human FAAH1

Tested Applications: ELISA, WB, IHC; Recommended dilution: WB:1:500-1:5000, IHC:1:50-1:200

Purification Method: Affinity-chromatography

Buffer: Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

Form: Liquid

Storage: Upon receipt, store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze.
