  • IHC image of CSB-RA217661A0HU diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human breast cancer performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-rabbit IgG polymer labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB.

Antibody Type: Recombinant

Target Names: AR

Aliases: Androgen receptor (Dihydrotestosterone receptor) (Nuclear receptor subfamily 3 group C member 4), AR, DHTR NR3C4

Background: Steroid hormone receptors are ligand-activated transcription factors that regulate eukaryotic gene expression and affect cellular proliferation and differentiation in target tissues. Transcription factor activity is modulated by bound coactivator and corepressor proteins. Transcription activation is down-regulated by NR0B2. Activated, but not phosphorylated, by HIPK3 and ZIPK/DAPK3.

Modified: Epigenetics and Nuclear Signaling; Cancer; Developmental biology; Signal transduction

species: Homo sapiens (Human)

Species Reactivity: Human

Immunogen: A synthesized peptide derived from human Androgen Receptor

Tested Applications: ELISA, WB, IHC; Recommended dilution: WB:1:500-1:5000, IHC:1:50-1:200
