• IHC image of CSB-PA016204LA01HU diluted at 1:300 and staining in paraffin-embedded human skeletal muscle tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0) . Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.
 • Immunoprecipitating NUP62 in A549 whole cell lysate
Lane 1: Rabbit control IgG instead of CSB-PA016204LA01HU in A549 whole cell lysate.
For western blotting, a HRP-conjugated Protein G antibody was used as the secondary antibody (1/50000)
Product Type: Polyclonal Antibody

Target Names: NUP62

Aliases: Nuclear pore glycoprotein p62, 62 kDa nucleoporin, Nucleoporin Nup62, NUP62

Background: Essential component of the nuclear pore complex (PubMed:1915414) . The N-terminal is probably involved in nucleocytoplasmic transport (PubMed:1915414) . The C-terminal is involved in protein-protein interaction probably via coiled-coil formation, promotes its association with centrosomes and may function in anchorage of p62 to the pore complex (PubMed:1915414, PubMed:24107630) . Plays a role in mitotic cell cycle progression by regulating centrosome segregation, centriole maturation and spindle orientation (PubMed:24107630) . It might be involved in protein recruitment to the centrosome after nuclear breakdown (PubMed:24107630) .
